A Six-Board Chest

Materials: Tulip Poplar

A present for my wife; sees a lot of use as an SCA feast-chest. Basic16th century six-board design. Top is made of two pieces, edge joined and held together with battens. Iron hinges on the inside as shown on period examples. Till is larger than usual to hold tableware. Finished with beeswax and linseed oil.
